Detailing is the rejuvenation and protection of a vehicles exterior and interior, a restoration as complete as possible to factory condition and beyond, to a “Showroom condition“. Automatic car washes, hand car washes, dirty sponges, dirty towels, bad products and wrong techniques are the main causes of paint imperfections such as swirl marks, scratches, buffer marks, holograms, micro marring, etc. Paint Correction Process is the removal of those paint imperfections by re-leveling the paintwork by 1 or 2 microns to the highest possible standards of perfection without compromising the safety of the paint thickness.

Detailing Clay – Bar is an engineered resin compound used to remove contaminates from the surface of your vehicle’s paint, fiberglass, glass and metal. Paint contaminates can be felt as a rough texture on the paint’s surface such as: industrial fallout, rail dust, brake dust, overspray, rust spots, tree sap, tar and bug remains. Those contaminates can not be removed by only washing your vehicle. Used properly, detailing Clay – Bar is completely safe, nonabrasive and will not remove any paint like compounds and polishes. Detailing Clay – Bar will leave your vehicle’s paint surface smooth as glass. We use detailing Clay – Bar before the application of any wax or polish. By doing this the shine will be more uniform, deeper and brighter, because waxes and paint sealants will adhere better to clean paint surface.

A new vehicle rarely leaves the showroom with high quality finish or good protection. You would think that a brand new vehicle should be in perfect condition, but in fact there will be many contaminations that need to be removed. The prices will vary from many reasons. The old saying “time is money “is very true, and when it comes to a long skilled labor detailing service it can be expensive. Some detailers are more thorough than others, some have more skills, better techniques, better products and some have better equipment. Some detailers will include more steps in a detail than others such as engine cleaning, interior dressing, more polishing steps or wet sanding. More steps mean more time which means more money. Some clients are very picky and they demand absolute perfection, while others are looking for more of a basic detail. Some clients would like their interior done to perfection and some clients would like their exterior to shine like a show – car. The final factor that will change the prices is the vehicle itself.

• How old is the vehicle? Obviously the job will take longer and be more of a challenge to detail an old or classic vehicle than a new vehicle.


• What color is the vehicle? Darker colors will always show more paint imperfections than lighter colors and that is why there will be a big time different from detailing a lighter color vehicle. Darker vehicles will require more polishing steps and more time to look their best.


• How big is the vehicle? Less time and stages are required for detailing a small two - door vehicle than a big Hummer.


• What color is the interior? Light interiors show more stains and dirt than dark interiors. A light interior will always be harder to detail and will always require more time and effort to restore.

The last step of a detailing service is the protection of the paint surface. This can be done with a wax or a polish / sealer, by hand or with a polisher. There can be few reasons for this, but the most common one is because an unprofessional detailer has been using the wrong techniques and the wrong products to remove imperfections from the paintwork. Some detailers also only apply wax to cover those imperfections. It may look good when you receive your vehicle, but those swirls and holograms appear after your first wash because the wax and glaze used to fill them get washed away. We have a 30 mile boundary for a single vehicle detail. If you have more then one vehicle and you live outside our 30 mile boundary please call or email us to discuss options. We will travel to an “out of boundary” area at an additional cost, if requested. The extra fee will be to cover our traveling expenses only.

No, our state of the art mobile unit carries fresh water and electrical supply onboard./br>

We do not require to be working in a garage as we keep a marquee in our mobile unit. However, if the weather is extremely poor we would prefer to work in a garage or if that is not available we will reschedule at no extra charge for the client.

Once we take a reservation, we hold that spot open for you and turn away other clients in order to ensure your vehicle gets full attention. If for any reason you may need to cancel or reschedule your detailing appointment we require a 24 – hours advance notice. Otherwise you will be charged $50.00
