First of all, what is Paintless Dent Removal (PDR)?

PDR is the "art" of removing dents, dings and creases from the inside of a vehicle's sheet metal with the use of custom designed dent removal tools. This highly skilled process is the answer for high repair cost and time consuming need for traditional body shop repair.

The Process

First the technician has to identify the dent or ding, where it begins and ends and find the right PDR tool to use effectively for the repair. To begin the repair process, the technician gains access to the inside skin of the metal through a vehicle window openings, headlights, tail lights, wheel well openings or other access points; a custom fluorescent light is then used to magnify the damaged area. The technician then drags the tip of the custom dent removal tool with leverage, over the damaged area in a fluid, pumping motion. In less than half - hour, small dents and dings become "massage out" without any damage to the paint.
